It includes the largest collection of bones of mammals in Cuba, with its thirteen scientific rooms for the public exhibition of valuable pieces, 70% of the fauna of the eastern region are represented. Its collection covers the following topics: Origin of the Solar System, foundation of the earth and origin of life, invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, Cuban aboriginal archeology, botany, environment, osteology, exotic fauna.
