The landscape where the installation is located is that of the Plains and Heights of the Center of Camagüey. To the south is the Sierra de Najasa, as well as the Sierra de Cubitas. The Najasa River is 104 km long and has an area of 895 km² in its basin. As it passes through the campsite, it has pools and rapids.
