Monument to José Martí in the Central Park

It was unveiled on February 24, 1905, ten years after the beginning of the conflict that the Apostle described as the Necessary War, in the Central Park of his native Havana. The ceremony began at nine in the morning and was led by Generalissimo Máximo Gómez and the President of the Republic, Tomás Estrada Palma.
