<pre class="tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta" data-placeholder="Traducción" id="tw-target-text" style="text-align:left" dir="ltr"><span class="Y2IQFc" lang="en">This park is named after Miguel F. Viondi y Vera who was one of the most illustrious figures in Guanabacoa and counted our National Apostle José Martí y Pérez among his friends. He was mayor and consultant lawyer of the Villa and Representative of the National Chamber in 1908 and contributed to the war of 1995. The park has in its center a monument to Viondi made up of a transvestite stone pedestal and a marble bust, bordered of gardening. The sculptor who carried out the sculpture was the Italian Aldo Gamba. It was decided to place this bust in this park due to its proximity to the home of this Guanabacoan personality. It was placed in the year of 1923.</span></pre>
